The Pipeline Dreams exhibition by the multi-genre group Fuga Kolektiv creates an environment that explores the sub-surface processes that accompany communication infrastructures. The installation consists of individual components connected by pipes, which function as carriers of information that permeate the surface in the form of shape and material gestures. Natural fluidity is given technological and material boundaries or, conversely, escapes them. Pipeline Dreams takes us beneath the surface, into a liminal underground passage. Commonly invisible infrastructure is a decentralized interface of communication and physical channels, whose emerging content we can decipher.
